Experience

Content Strategist, Meta (2022-Present)

I lead content strategy and development on the Meta Business Help Center and Instagram Help Center for business and creator-focused products, including Facebook Live, Facebook Video, Pages and profiles, Instagram monetization, and creator payouts.

I build and execute data-driven, SEO-informed strategies for in-product and online education opportunities that drive effective support and promote product awareness and adoption. In my first 120 days, I created and implemented content strategy that improved positive user feedback from 62% to 68%.

Online Content Quality Specialist, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (2017-2021)

At ASME, I wrote and edited compelling B2B content, including email campaigns, white papers, webinars, landing pages, scripts, and presentations. With my strong focus on SEO, I designed and scaled content strategy that resulted in an increase of 374 more page-1 keywords year-over-year.

I also created new, collaborative content management and submission systems and editorial calendars, boosting operational efficiency and leading to faster production times.

Editor, Staff Writer, Brainjolt Media (2014-2016)

At Brainjolt, I brainstormed, created, assigned, and edited content, including: long-form stories, short-form articles and quizzes. I developed the company’s first style guide and created the brand voice. I also introduced new editorial processes that built cross-functional collaboration workflows with traffic acquisition managers, writers, and editors.

International Desk Editor, Business Wire (2011-2013)

I edited and optimized SEO driven, multilingual press releases and earnings reports for global syndication and distribution, quickly and efficiently disclosing time-sensitive information in a fast-paced environment.

Work Samples

As a UX content strategist and technical writer, my job is to create content that speaks to my audience. I start by working to understand my end users, and why they’d want to interact and engage with content — whether it’s product instructions, release notes, organizational guidelines, or a landing page.

My work below is a sample of how I implement user-centric content design methods and advocate for my stakeholders and end users.
